This is a very strict diet. You need to read the book that exalipns everything. I started my drops the last two days of my period. Those were my loading days. The third day I started the low calorie portion. I saw a steady decline. I averaged 2 pounds a day the first week, then 1 pound a day until I stopped at the beginning of my next period. That was using 25 days of drops. I lost 28 pounds. I am working on phase 3 now. I have not gained any weight back. I have not lost anymore, which is peculiar. I am eating no starches or sugars. Next week I will start adding starches one day a week.I would recommend as long as you can handle the low calorie portion and limiting oils go for it. You may not loose anything on your heaviest days, which is discouraging. My biggest motivator was watching the weight drop daily. The lost continues after the flow slows. Hormonal maybe.Good luck

Just go on a 24 hr fast, drinking lots of water only, green tea too if you want. By that time, most of your cgnriavs should be gone and you'll experience true hunger. Once it's over though, MAKE SURE to eat a healthy, light, wholesome breakfast, lunch, and dinner. DO NOT eat junk food or fattening food of any kind; that will just make your cgnriavs for junk food worse.Good food options:whole grain bread/pasta/cereal (look for ones with high fiber content and lower calories)lowfat cheeses and soymilk or skim milk for proteinbaked/grilled meats instead of friedLOTS OF FRUITS AND VEGGIESThe higher fiber and lack of excessive sugar and fat will have you feeling a lot more satisfied and full. Eating this way will be a lot easier after a 24 hr fast because you actually feel true hunger after that time, and pretty much anything tastes good after 24 hrs of no food. It's a great way to train your tastebuds to like things that are good for you.

It depends on your wehigt. If you only have a few pounds to lose, like 10-15, then it'll take longer to lose that amount than if you have over 20 pounds to lose. With the HCG drops, I'm guessing you could lose 7 pounds easy. More if you're really strict while on the VLCD. Remember you only eat 500 calories a day, no sugar (nor fake sugars like splenda), 200 grams of meat total, 2 fruits, and 1 bread thing. If you want to lose the wehigt faster, you may want to cut out the bread stick and 1 of the fruits. Honestly, I started these drops 4 days ago (2 days of Phase 1, and now I'm on my second day of Phase 2) and I just got on the scale a few minutes ago and I lost 5 pounds in 1 day! But I have quite a bit of wehigt to lose so that won't be the results for everyone. If you exercise at least 30 minutes a day also, you could lose even more than 10 pounds a week. Also, I haven't been hungry on this diet. The drops help soo much! Good luck and have fun in N. Carolina!

The shitakki noodles are awsome and I found that waldens farms zero calorie tomato basil sauce is really yummy with chicken and seasoning added. The diet has been strangely working. I dont know how when I was always taught to count calories. Good luck. I found the key was trying to find Sugar Free alternatives and walden farms has amazing options and the oat bran gilatis are super good.

Hello all:
want to go on this diet ... already the whole family of a friend who directed me to it has done it and shed 8 kilos each...
My concern is being italian ... no pasta at all?
and no Wine or beer with food ever?
I am no fan of any soda or low calories beverages.
Milk lactose free 2% with breakfast fine?
mixed with coffee with aspartame or Splenda...
how about blue agave sweetener...?
Please advice... before I dive into it.
